Updates Updates!!!!!

Wow, it has been quite some time since I posted on the blog! It has been quite an eventful ride for me these past few weeks and I will share with you in this long overdue post. J Well, most of my posts are LONG anyways… haha…

Those that read up on my facebook would know that I have left my previous company for a new job. I have always been someone who cherish friendship to quite a certain extend and having spent 2 years with the company, it was really a little painful to leave them. The bunch of colleagues was one of the greatest groups that I have worked with and they have all taught me a lot, regardless if they are my superiors or my subordinates. Speaking of which, I have not attached the photos that I took with them individually before I left. Haha. That’s how busy I am. But I will have them all uploaded today! Stay tuned on my Facebook ya!

My Senior, Byran, also came to Singapore for his debut album’s photo shoot and also had some performances too! I finally had the chance to be on the same stage as him in Jurong Point and although I am not singing together alongside him, it was really a great moment to be share the same stage with Elson and Bryan senior! They are great in their performances and showmanship and they are the role models that I, especially, strive to follow. Elson is always charming and captivating on stage and Bryan’s soulful singing captured the hearts of many. A great example for any performer to follow! Of course, they are artistes but there are so many thing that I can learn from them!

Speaking of Elson in Jurong Point, he had an autograph session after his performance and the turnout was fantastic! It was such a great feeling to see him succeed and I am sure Bryan will too!

Bryan is in the mist of recording for his debut album and the last I heard, the recordings are almost done! I simply cannot wait to get my hands on his album! Do keep yourself updated in facebook for the release date for his album ya! But a little preview first! This is one of the songs in his album and is one of my favorite!

Elson will be releasing the special edition of his debut album, 完整专辑(改版), on 25th April, which is definitely another event to look forward to! Following the sold out of his debut album, this is not to be missed! His second album will be out in around May and in this second album, there is a surprise! I cannot disclose what it is, but it will definitely be great! In the meantime, let’s take a look at his newly released music videos for his songs, 說好一定要幸福 and說一次你愛我! I will post this in sequence and please WATCH IN SEQUENCE, as the story is linked! Definitely a surprise!

His music videos for the two english songs in his album is also releasing soon and guess what? He directed the new MVs himself!!! I am so honored to be his junior! Stay tuned for it!
Speaking of albums, Joseph and Yumi will be releasing their compilation album soon! I had the chance to hear their raw version of their songs and I simply love them! They took some pictures during the photoshoot for their album and they look great! Hope everyone will support them, because they have done so well for their songs and they have put in 120%!

Another event I had the honor to be part of was the fund-raiser for Japan, Fundraising for Japan 2011 at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.  It was an event that gathered some of Singapore’s homegrown talents to take part in a performance marathon, doing our part in performing and raising funds for those affected by the 311 Japan quake. It was an event full of heartfelt emotions and it was definitely heartwarming to see so many, putting our best and doing our small part in a big dream to help those in need.  A big thank you to the organizers for giving me a chance to do my part and I would like to once again urge everyone to participate in fund raisers for those in need. A little gesture really goes a long way and the fulfillment you will feel is really priceless.
Below is the video for the fund raiser that the organizers had done and you can feel the warmth just by looking at it!

There will be lots of other events coming up for us at Royal, which includes 鄧麗君 singing competition, book fairs and events. But I think the most important event that everyone is looking forward to is Elson’s concert at Singapore Expo Max Pavilion! It will be a great event! Hope to see you all there! Before I go off, do take a look at our EP’s TV advertisement! It will be airing soon on TV! Our MV seems to be coming along fine too, so hope it will be ready soon!

See you guys around ya!
Love,
Peter 黄国量

Sakura Food Fair 2011

The Sakura Food Fair 2011 has come to a successful end last Sunday! It was a fun filled event with lots of healthy food, fun games and great music! Royal artistes, performing group and talents were given the chance to perform and entertain in this great event!

First off, Royal Emcees Stephen and Jessica were around to introduce all the nutritious and healthy food to everyone in the building. There were so many different types of food, ranging for Roti Prata and eggs to the all time favorite Sakura Chicken!

Of course, the ambassadors of Sakura Chicken, Elson Soh and Imperial Chicken, Shanice Koh were there to introduce the healthy and tasty chicken and they also graced the stage with their songs! It was really an enjoyment for the eyes, ears and stomachs! They also had some fun game sessions with the crowd where they gave away some fantastic prizes for the lucky ones in the crowd!

There was also a segment by special guest appearance by local Malay artiste/songwriter, Didicazli, which brought laughter and spotlight to the entire event! His easy going and fun loving style of communicating on stage was simply great and he real brought to us a great show! Thank you, Didicazli!

Royal Artiste Joseph Hui, Yumi Beh and Dayan Boay also brought great entertainment to the crowd with their songs and the crowd loves it! Their voices filled the event and gave everyone something to shout about!

We, Royal Performing Group, also brought our passion and love for music to share with the crowd with songs from our debut EP. We also played some games with crowd and I gave my favorite eggs to a cute little girl who answered the question! I was thinking if she would share some with me. Haha!

There were also performances from juniors from the performing group, Karen Chen Wan Xuan and Eddy Ong! Do support them too as they are budding members of the performing group and they need your encouragements! A guest appearance by a cute little singer, Chen Yu Qing, also did well! She has performed at a lot of places and it was great that she was able to perform at the event too!

EMEFC was also there to show their support towards the event and they have helped the sale of the Sakura Chicken so much that all the chicken was sold out! It was great! They really brought awareness to all the people around and I am sure everyone will eat healthy and stay healthy!

It was a great event with great songs and wonderful food! Especially the Sakura chicken! Mr Sim from Kee Song Group gifted me the gift of health – Sakura Chicken to share with my family! Thank you so much Mr Sim! My mum was all praises for the chicken and I am sure we will be getting more from the NTUCs!

I would like to thank Kee Song Group for the wonderful event as you have not only given us the chance to perform of stage, you have given us healthy living!

A big thank you to the management of Bukit Timah Plaza for giving us the platform to bring the healthy message to everyone!
Thanks to Team Salon too for the great hairstyling that was done on our artistes! You make us shine!

Not to forget, the sound engineers from K-Express! The sound system was great and it gave the performers a big boast in their confidence!
Thanks to all whom came to support the event! The support from all of you is always a big push for us and I am sure all of you would know by now: ” Eat healthy, live healthy”!

Let me share some more pictures with you!

Hope to see all of you again for the next event! Before saying goodbye, take a look at the TV advertisement that was aired on Channel 8 and Channel U for Sakura Chicken by our very own Elson Soh!

Debut EP compilation Album

The debut album has been released for Royal Performing Group! 25-Feb was the day we received the album from William and we had our debut album promotion on the 26-Feb and 27-Feb at Bugis Junction! It was a very ‘eventful’ weekend which really gave us a lesson on the phrase : “ United We Stand ”!

Our debut album is distributed by Life Record, a major label! It is truly a great honor to have the support from Mr Osman and his wife for the support to our dreams and trusting in us!
On the night of 25-Feb, Joanne vomited. I joked that it was a psychological effect that she is too excited and anxious about the next day, but I was really quite worried about her. However, I know that she has waited for this day and will not miss it for anything (the same goes for the rest of the PG, I am sure too). The next day, my car broke down en-route to the event! Imagine me dressed in all white standing in the middle of the road! So prominent! Eventually the tow truck came and I quickly made my way to stage side.
William arrived and was having a sore throat and fever. Jessica was coughing like mad, Stephen was resting and arrived before the second segment, Joanne was dizzy for the whole day, Celin was in night shift the night before and had not slept at all, I was coughing with sore throat, Micka was not feeling well too.
But we pushed on! We went up and did our best on both days. The entire event went on smoothly on both days with help from a lot of people!

First off, I would like to thank Mr Osman and his wife from Life Record for distributing our album and being at the launch event! Our dreams would not have come true if Life Record had not distributed our album and trusted in us. We will do our very best to improve and spread our passion to all!

I would also like to thank Royal for realizing our dream. Thank you for the great lyrics, 黑夜老师, and Seniors Elson Soh and Bryan Teoh for the great music composition! The Performing Group is really honored to be able to sing these songs and we will do our very best to bring out the feelings in the songs with our passion! Elson had a performance too on Sunday and he has shown us what we need to do to live up to our album. We will jia you, Shi Siong!

Loraine Tan was also at hand to show off her Live singing skills and promote her album. Do show support to local music!

Thank you to our sponsors! A big heartfelf gratitude to Team Salon,刘三阁 and 足浴阁 for believing and trusting in us! We will continue to do our best to bring good music to the audience and do our best in each and every performance that we have!

Most importantly, a big thank you to those who are listening to our songs right now. You will always be our motivation, driving us on, pushing us forward. We will put in our heart and soul into every song, every beat. Without YOU, we have no reason to exist. For being there, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
For those who might have missed out on the albums on 26th and 27th, the albums will hit major CD stores from 1st March onwards! The Performing Group will also be having more Live performances of the songs, as this is our passion and love, so do stay tuned on this blog or our fanpages on facebook for regular updates!

Members of the Royal Performing Group are a bunch of passionate music lovers, grouped together and releasing our compilation only for one reason – to sing and perform for all of you! We may not be the best, but we will keep improving! Bringing you our passion for music is the reason WE exist!

Countdown to the 25th Feb 2011

Royal Performing Group is counting down to the 25th Feb 2011, which is an important day for us! That is the day where our dream comes true!

If you have been following our blog and facebook fanpages, you would have noticed that we had our studio recordings for our compilation album. This EP will consist of 4 songs, sang by each of the members of the performing group; Joanne Chan, Micka, Celin Sim and me, Peter Ng. Fully new songs and never released in the market, lyrics are written by 黑夜老师 and composed by two new up and coming Stars of Royal International, Elson Soh and Bryan Teoh.

These songs were rejected by some artistes previously and were in turn given to us by 黑夜老师. To be frank, i cannot find a reason why these songs were rejected... Each and every song has a life; Every song has a story behind it and in my opinion, THESE songs in the compilation album has stories and meanings that are huge and to be given a chance to 'convey' it through our voices are such an honor.

To me, that is the most important aspect of singing. I have always felt that singing is using music to convey a story, a message where the song writers and composers placed their heart and soul into every single piece that they write... To sing this song is a dream come true for me, personally. Being my own song is definately a great honor to receive, no doubt, but the most important point is the chance to inject the 'life' into the song.

Passionate about music and singing, the performing group is still learning, putting our best into conveying that passion we have for singing with each and every performance. We hope that with this album, we will be able to learn more and grow with the love of our life, Passion for Music.

Movie preview of Rabbit Hole @ Premiere Shaw Theatre

Yesterday, members of the Royal Performing Group was honored to be invited to the preview of the movie, Rabbit Hole, at the luxurious ‘ Premiere ‘Shaw Theatre that will soon be launching at the new shopping mall, Nex.

Situated on levels 4 and 5, occupying a total of 3,700 square metres of the new mall besides Serangoon MRT, Nex, the first look at the theatre was simply breathtaking! Posh outlook with a cozy ambiance makes me at ease immediately. With the courteous and professional counter staffs at both Box Office and Candy Bar greeting patrons with their friendly smiles, I could not wait to experience the prestige in the * Premiere * section of the theatre that I would be enjoying with this wonderful invite from OMY!

So up we go to the * Premiere * section of the theatre, which will be the main focus of this post today. Stepping into the lounge, warm smiles greet you all round from the staffs and the cozy yet classy feeling that surrounds you. The posh and well-equipped bar counter situated on the left of the lounge shows how much importance the theatre places on the quality of the Food and Beverages and the cozy ambiance of the lounge overall gives one the feeling of homeliness.

Being guided to the theatre when the movie will be shown, we were being greeted by a bunch of warm and friendly staff in the theatre hall. Showing the tickets, we were guided to our seats, which I would say, this is where the ‘ Premiere ‘ takes over!

The ' premiere ' theatre is also ideal for
private bookings (e.g. birthday and anniversary parties) and corporate events.
Guests may chill out and dine at the exclusive lounge, pre-screen, before the movie
screening.

Leather seats, side by side, are arranged 2 in a row, providing the privacy needed in the show. Two menus are placed on the table right in front of the seats, situated perfectly to provide for placement of food but not hindering the closeness that the two seats share. A blanket was provided by the side of the seats, bringing the whole “cozy” touch to another level.
After being guided to our seats, the staffs gave clear and detailed instructions on functions around our seats; He showed us the location of the “Service” button, the location of the “Recline” button and the menu was shown to us with a night light on and attached for easy viewing. One thing I discovered to be a wonderful touch, taking the amount of service satisfaction into consideration, was a board behind every seat. This is especially important for tall guys like me, who will be afraid to recline the seats to it full potential and “kicking“ the seats in front. Great Stuff!

Food served ranges from finger food to desserts and beverages consists of soft drinks, beers, cocktails and ice blended coffee selections. We placed our orders for a “Premiere Platter” shared between Joanne and I with a beer for me and Latte for Joanne and although the food was served during the movie, the server was able to have the entire transaction done seamlessly without affecting the movie experience. The food was delicious, by the way, and the positioning of the table was magically comfortable, only requiring minimal movement to enoy the food with the seats in the reclining position.

On with the show! Title of the show is Rabbit Hole. I will not go into details about the show though, so do lookup the following website for the review.

http://movies.insing.com/movie/rabbit-hole/id-6b020000

The bill was brought forth during the show and this was a tad disturbing, but that aside, the experience was great and out of this world! The service that was rendered from the start, the cozy ambiance and the prestigious feeling lingers around even after stepping out from the theatre. You will definitely not want to miss this! I have even overheard other bloggers stating : “ I don’t want to get up because it is too comfortable!” You know what? Sentiments exactly!

The entire experience could not be clearly conveyed with words and pictures alone; You will need to experience it yourself to fully discover the feeling of prestigious, cozy and fantastic service rendered throughout the time spent at ’ Premiere ‘Shaw Theatres @ Nex!

A great thank you to Alvin from OMY for the invite for this preview, where I could really place all other worries aside and enjoy a great evening with my fellow artistes and loved ones!
Thank you, Shaw Theatre, for the great service that was shown throughout the time I spent at the theatre and making me right at home!

I would sincerely recommend this theatre to everyone out there! It is a wonderful experience for me and I would like to share this experience with movie lovers because you will not find a better place to enjoy the movies whilst being provided world class services!

Updates

It has been a very eventful month for me and the performing group. I think you can safely say we have learnt a lot this month and there are points in time where when reflected, I wish I could forget some of the things that has happened. However, thinking back at the same time, things happened for a reason and if it has never happened, we Will never know certain things, so... A blessing in disguise I would day. :)

Anyways, on with the blogging!

I had the honor of meeting the mixing engineer for Senior Elson's hot selling album, Mr Teffy, when he came into town! Teffy will also be helping the performing group mix our compilation album and he has worked wonders, trust me. The entire group of us can vouch for that. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Teffy. I am truly grateful to you and so is the entire RPG. We will do our very best to improve and hopefully we can make you life easier in the future if we get another chance. :p

Another event to note this month was the showcase when both my seniors, Elson and Bryan, showcased their music! I brought 3 of my friends along and they were full of praises after attending the showcase! Bryan's soulful voice made my heart hurt with every single note whereas Elson's singing always mesmerizes me. They are such great singers and are so wonderful onstage! And one highlight of the show is when Teffy went on stage and showed his keyboard skills to everyone and it was simply amazing! Teffy's wife, Daisy, came on as well and did a number called Loving You and it's like hearing an angel sing as her voice was soothing and her high notes were BEAUTIFUL! I feel so blessed to be there to enjoy the music.

The other important event I was fortunate to be in was when senior Elson performed at Social House for his debut Album Showcase. It was great as I have learnt alot, like stage presence;how to carry yourself in public, etc. I am glad to have a senior like Elson who shows us the ropes. Thank you!!!

Of cos, there are other showcases and performances in the month. Stephen and Jessica hosted quite a few big shows in Chinatown Point and was great in their hosting! The chemistry was showing, especially when they had their showcase at Bian's Cafe. Very entertaining and was great!

Royal Artistes Shanice, Joseph, Dayan and Yumi had events and performances. Everyone had made so much improvements and was really shinning up on stage! New additions to performing group, Heok Tao, had his first showcase and did well, really enjoyed the stage! Eddy also was featured at Chinatown point and although I was not able to attend that, I am sure he did well!

Looking ahead at the month ahead, it will also be an eventful month. Really looking forward to the royal reunion lunch and to see all the family back together again at one place! Hope it doesn't rain... Haha... ( William mentioned that as long as the entire Royal Family gathered, it will definitely rain. ) really cannot wait to see them!

Our complilation album will be released end Feb and really hope that the album will be well received. :) Do support us and our music! More details about the album will be provided, and also the updates can also be found in our facebook pages!

Since this is the last post for me this lunar year, I would like to express my gratitude to some. Firstly, thank you, William, for everything. You have given us a chance where no one else would. We will do our very bestto improve and live up to your expectations.

Thank you, Elson and Bryan senior. Both of you have supported us and given us strength to face up to a lot of things and we will do our best and take you guys to be our role models!

Stephen, thank you for all the help that you have rendered to us and we will do our best and train up on our instruments. :) you have showed us patience and was a great mentor to us. Thank you!

Royal artistes Shanice, Joseph, Dayan, Jessica, thank you for beig there for us when we really need a hand and extending out your help to us just like a family. You guys are simply great! Let's all Jia you together!

Heok Tao, Eddy, Karen, this road will be a tough road for everyone, but I am sure we will be able to go through it as long as we work as a family! We have so many family members helping us, we will do it! Jia you!

I am always so long winded. Keke. But i always have a lot on mind, so ... Haha. Okok, I know age is catching up now...

Update about Royal Performing Group will be available on our fan pages apart from here, so do stay tunes to find out able our events, performances and it Album!

Thank you!

Love,
Peter Ng

Busy December

Woah!! Its been some time since i blogged!

Its closing to the end of the December and everything seems like a whirlwind. Everyone was so busy perparing for plannings and events and all else for Royal. Although it was quite taxing on everyone's energy, I am sure everyone was happy. :)

Elson's Album was a real hit! Within a period of 5 days, the stocks are OUT ISLANDWIDE! The only stocks left are from CD RAMA are in their HQ, Bras Brasah and the last i heard, there are less than 50pcs left! I knew that it will be a success! Congrats to Elson! He has been through so much to reach this and finally its here for him! Elson, if you are reading this, those tears are tears of joy. :)

He had a live jamming showcase Echoloft and it was simply fantastic! With a great band that consisted of Simon from Echoloft, a fantastic bass-ist Keith, a superb drummist in Byran and our very own music director, Stephen, on the electric guitar, the whole show was so HIGH! We did not want it to end. . . :( but i am sure there will be more chances for us to see Elson performing like that again!

Another of my senior also came in from Malaysia. ( I mentioned him on my previous post. :) ) He is non other than Bryan Teoh! I enjoyed each and every second of the showcase and his singing is so great! The emotions in his voice, plus his keyboard and entertaining hosting really amazed me! Not to mention the talents from Forest Talents, Steve, Li Hong and Eric. They were really fantastic too! I really cannot wait to see them again! Hope they are all fine there! :)

As for the Royal Performing group, we have been showcasing ourselves quite a bit too this month!

Joanne and I had a showcase at Echoloft and Micka and Celin had theirs on the next day. We did some 'high' songs, some rock and not to mention the ballads! Thanks for all the support from those whom were there!

We also had our famous " Four Seasons " showcase at China town point with two of our new addition to the family, Karen and Eddy! Funny how most mentions us as " 4 Season Singers " rather than Royal Performing Group. . .  Its great to be remembered, but we got to bring accross our Group title more. :) Great support there too by the and really apperciate everyone!!!

Then there was the Ultimate Star Search competition. Performers with passion for singing entertained us and reminded me of myself. . .  keke. We enjoyed ourselves throughout the competition and uncovered a gem! Wanna know who he is? Join us at Chinatown on 1st Jan 2011for our Welcome concert and you will know!

We also had 2 showcases for Karen and Eddy at Bian's Cafe to prepare them for the bigger stage, and i think everything is looking good! Though there is a little more work to be done, it looks kinda bright! Jia You to my juniors!!

Last but not least, we had a Christmas concert at Chinatown point and i sang my first christmas songs on the stage! Was quite nervous but settled down pretty fast and we did ok, i think. :)  Although there is quite a few improvements that had been identified, i have faith in this family of mine that we will do it!! Jia You!

We may have some new additions in our family and its all very exciting! But we have a very strong family bond in Royal, and for new family members, do be prepared to be commited to the family and be willing to put in the effort, because only those with a sincere heart will be able to "survive" in this family.

Believe it or not, i tried to post this at the BEGINNING of the day, but only able to complete this at 6pm. haha. I am quite busy at work, but i will still try to update and blog as much as i can, so do forgive me if i am a little late. :p

Thank you.

Really love all the supporters, family members!!

Fantastic Friday

Past 2 days were important days for me. Last night was Bryan Shi Xiong's music showcase at Echo Loft, but the excitement began 2 days ago.

On Tuesday night, Royal Family and I went to welcome Bryan and other Forest Talent performers at Woodlands customs. It was so very exciting as I have been waiting to meet him and the others since i saw their videos. When they reached, I (and i am sure the rest of PG felt the same) were completely blown over by their friendly nature! In fact, i felt kinda shy in front of them, haha. I wanted to strike up a conversation with them, but did not know where to start.

Subsequently, we drove to the hotel for them to drop off their baggages and went for 'supper'. Iwould rather call it a FEAST instead. . .  we seemed like hungry ghost, but not because of our looks. . .  take a look at the picture and you will know why. . .

Scary, right?! I was so bloated after the FEAST!! ( Not that i am complaining. . .  food was great! )

Then we sent everyone back to the hotel and went home to rest. But that was just the beginning of the adventure!

Last night, we gathered at Echoloft for the showcase that i was so looking forward for! As Bryan has been performing regularly in his hometown in Penang, I knew that he would be very comfortable on stage. But i was wrong. He is not only VERY comfortable on stage, his stage presence completely took over! He shined on the stage and the way the songs were brought out by him really blown me away.

The keyboard was like a part of him and his voice brought out the feelings of the songs that went straight into my heart. He reminded me that singing does not involve forcing myself to hit all the high notes, but its the feeling that brings out a song. I felt very absorbed that i did not want the showcase to end. Not to mention the special performances by Forest Talent's Li Hong, Steve and Eric. Each and every one of them are like: " Wow" and they are so great!! I simply loved the entire performance and seriously, although i was quite tired, i did not want it to end! My only regret was that i did not get a chance to jam with them yesterday, but i know that one day, that dream will come through.

I was not able to join them for supper after everything last night as i had to work today and had to get up very early, but i felt quite depressed that i could not send them off today, as i need to work and they are going back in the afternoon.

I feel very fortunate that i am in Royal with a family that loves music, but now, i feel more that that. I thank God that i have found such a familty and they are able to accept me for my flaws in singing and performing and have been very patience towards me.

I am so looking forward to 1st Jan 2011, as they are coming back! I really miss them the minute i left Echoloft last night! I kept telling them tocome back soon. . .  and i dunno if they know that i really mean it :) ... i think they do . . .

Jia you, Bryan Shi Xiong, Li Hong, Steve and Eric!! If you are reading this post, WE miss you!! I am really glad to meet more friends that loves music! Jia You!!!

Peter Ng

Effort...

How much effort is effort? Take some time to think about this question.

Is the amount of effort calculated by hours? If that is the case, does it mean that 10 hours of non-productive practicing will result in a successful performance? Does it mean that quantity is more important than quality?

On the other hand, with 2 hours of quality practicing, will it generate a good show? Does that mean that "do it one time and do it good" during practice will be enough?

Each and every amount of effort is very important. The hours of QUALITY practicing is important for a good show. The CONSTANT amount of effort is also essential to maintain a good performance in the future as a good foundation is the basic to any performing artiste's shows.

We at Royal Performing Group chooses to believe that the only way to a good performance is to have Quantity and Quality practice. We believe in giving our best during each and every practice, be productive and help each other along. We try our best, we never ask for anything more than to make sure we pass our very own personal benchmark and we treat anything else that comes our way as a BONUS, not something that we DESERVE.

That's what makes me proud to be part of the Royal Performing Family. We have stuck together and will always maintain that. We will brave through whatever pressure that comes our way together and we will fight to stand strong against all odds. We will do our very best in every battle.

Most importantly, we will put in EFFORT.

Peter Ng

Family ties

I have never felt strong family ties before, apart from my mum.

From young, i have always been alone, without any brothers and sisters. I have even prayed to God ( more
than one God at the same time where i was still a little boy O.o ) for me to be given a sibling, so that i will not be alone.

After more than 20 years, my wish has been fulfilled! Not only i have a wonderful life partner, i have found a family!

It did not matter how tired we are. It did not matter how much difficulties we faced. I have this strange but wonderful feeling that this bond will never break, that we will not forsake each other.

When one is not doing well, no one looks down on him/her. Instead, the entire family lifted him/her up with encouragements and helping hands.

When one cries, no one fleds the ground. Instead, we help him/her to dry his/her tears and wipe our own off at the same time.

When one gets complimented or praised, no one feels more superior than others. Instead, credits are quickly shared and pushed to other members of the family, as he/she understands that the battle is won together, not as an individual.

No one takes things for granted, but appreciates all the help that he/she is getting from the rest and shows immense gratitude.

Loving each and every single one of you.

First Post!

Hi All!!

A blog for Royal Performing Group! Oh My! I love this!

I have not blogged for a long time! I think it's been 10 years... so long ago that i forgot my previous blog's webpage! Haha! But this is really appropriate!

It seems like just yesterday that i had the honor of joining Royal International. If you take a look on the left side of the page, right at the bottom, that is my very first Music Showcase's poster! Really brings back memories! Let me share some photos with you guys!

Joanne was my Guest Singer at that time. :) That was really something wonderful that sparked the rest into action! Soon, Joanne and i started having our lesson with William and that was where we got to meet the rest of my PG family!

I remember that time when i went into the studio for the lesson, i saw Micka and was thinking. . . Thank God i am not the oldest!! ... but it turns out that Micka was younger than me! . . . 一场欢喜一场空。

We all got to know each other that day and it was kinda 不好意思 at first. Everyone was fresh faces and they all looked so professional! I was so nervous... haha.

Followed up, William told Joanne and i that we will have an unplugged showcase with our Music Director. Unplugged!!! i have never done that before and i was like so nervous! And we have never seen our Music Director at that time! Stressed!!

We had our photo shoot that weekend with the rest of the Royal Family and we got to see Stephen for the first time. When he took out his guitar and started playing, it was great! Kinda like a Jamming session right there at the photo shoot area!

From there on, we got to know each other more and started practising for the showcase. i do not have the photo's to share though. :) Stephen taught me a lot during the time and i think i drove him pretty crazy.

After a few more lessons, we got to know each other in the PG better. Lessons were tough, but i have really learnt a lot during them and will always be practicing the techniques taught by William.

Then comes our first test, 春夏秋冬. It's my second time working with Stephen and we kinda have a chemistry going on the stage, so i was pretty fortunate and happy. And the rest did so well too! i am not going to elaborate on it here as i have written a very long message on my facebook fanpage about it. :) Here's the link:

This is really the start of something special for me and i am very honoured to be in this big Royal family where everyone is so supportive and appreciative of each other. I wanted friends and i got family, this is too great!

I will continue to do my very best!

Well, i feel that i am getting to be more and more long-winded. . .  must be the age. Haha.

Till next time, do keep supporting Royal Performing Group!

Love and Peace,

Peter Ng
