It has been one month plus since the release of Royal Performing Group compilation album.
Thank you to those who had bought our album. And also thank you EME once again for the help and support during our album launch promotion.
And the TV ad for our album is out! Thank you William for doing this ad for us!
Next, Elson Senior's 2 MVs <说好一定要幸福> and <说一次你爱我> are out also! The storyline for both MVs are linked and it is really a sad love story.

Coming up next will be Elson Senior's debut album- The Final Version special edition album which will be available at all major CD stores starting from 25 April 2011!
Also, the compilation album for Joseph Senior and Yumi will be out soon!
And Bryan Senior is now in the midst of recording the songs for his debut album!
Many good albums from Royal International Group will be out soon, so do lookout for the updates in Facebook!
Lastly before I end this blog, I would like to share the video recorded for the Fund Raising Event for Japan 2011 Elson Senior, Bryan Senior, Joseph Senior, Yumi, Peter and myself had taken part on 10 April.
Am so glad that I'm part of such a meaningful event!

Sakura Food Fair 2011 presented by Kee Song Group
The 3 days Sakura Food Fair presented by Kee Song Group ended successfully on 06-Mar.
Look at the beautiful backdrop! With Elson and Shanice Senior together with local Malay artiste- Didicazli and also us- Royal Performing Group!
Jessica and Stephen are the Emcees and their chemistry is certainly building up!
Ehm.. I meant the chemistry in their hosting.. Haha!
And would like to thank Kee Song Group for giving Royal Artistes, Performing Group and talents a chance to perform in this event!
And there is this little girl- Chen Yu Qing who wrote in to perform. She is so adorable!
Ambassadors of Sakura Chicken- Elson and Imperial Chicken- Shanice were also there to dazzle the stage!
And also guest appearance by local Malay artiste- Didicazli!
EMEFC was also there to support the event! With their help, all chickens were SOLD OUT! Good Job everyone! :)
The 3 days food fair was a fun-filled event with lots of great music,games with attractive prizes and healthy food!
Me and Peter have bought the 冬虫夏草鸡 (Cordyceps Chicken) ourselves!
For a moderate cook like me, I'm so happy to know that all I have to do is to clean the chicken and cook the chicken in a slow cooker for at least 2 hours, the best 4 hours! And I can have a healthy and delicious chicken soup!
And thank you Kee Song Group- Mr. Sim for giving me the 樱花鸡 (Sakura Chicken)
I'm going to try cooking it very soon. Am looking through recipes that are easy to cook.
I don't want to make a mistake and ruin the chicken.. So better play safe.. Haha!
For those who had missed this Food Fair, you can also purchase the 樱花鸡 (Sakura Chicken) and 冬虫夏草鸡 (Cordyceps Chicken) from NTUC!
It is definately my No.1 choice to a healthier living!

Our First Compilation Album - 黑夜的音乐故事
Time really passed very fast.
Royal Performing Group's 1st compilation album was finally released on 25-Feb-2011.
This album is called 黑夜的音乐故事, lyrics by 黑夜老师. Music composition by Elson and Bryan Senior.
Simply too many people to thank.
First of all, would like to thank Life Record for distributing our album. Thank you Mr. Osman and his wife who made a special trip down to Bugis Junction for our album promotion. It is truly our honour.
Next, I would like to thank our Artiste Manager- William and 黑夜老师. Thank you for making me whom I am now. Recalling back last year, I don't even dare to sing on stage. Today, I'm able to stand on stage more confidently. On behalf of the rest of the Performing Group, I would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity and honour to sing in this album. We may not be the best but we will definately work towards improvement.
And Elson Senior and Bryan Senior, I just want to say the whole of Performing Group love the both of you! And we will support both of you all the way! Thank you for the encouragement all these while! Your music composition is terrific!
Also, thank you to Teffy, our music arranger and mixing engineer for the wonderful arrangement and mixing!
The beautiful lady besides him is his wife- Daisy, who is a singer with great vocals.
To the rest of the Royal family, thank you everyone for your encouragement and support!
Most importantly, thank you everyone of EME for helping us out during the 2 days album promotion! Both days were pretty tedious as the weather was quite harsh. Thank you for always being so supportive, be it during events or the album promotion.

Private Screening of RABBIT HOLE at *Premiere* Shaw Theatre @ Nex- 15 Feb'11
Thank you OMY for the invitation to the private screening of RABBIT HOLE at *premiere* Shaw Theatre @ Nex.
I feel so excited when I got the invitation! Previously, I have read about the *premiere* Shaw Theatre @ Nex on Shaw's official website. I'm so happy that I finally got a chance to experience it myself!
Met up with Peter, Stephen and Jessica in the evening. After collecting the tickets from Alvin, we went to the snack counter to buy some food and drink. Have bought my favourite hotdog and Nachos! Yummy!
We then proceeded to the screen hall and the *premiere* lounge caught my eye. It is nicely furnished with a bar counter for guests to chill out before the start of the movie. We were then lead to the screen hall. I didn't know the way to the *premiere* screen halls is actually through the lounge. So amazing!
At the entrance the screen hall, we were further greeted by the friendly staff and were lead to our seats. The seating are in pairs making me feel a sense of privacy. And the leather seats are so comfortable! Plenty of leg room and the seats are adjustable! Furthermore there is a menu on the table whereby we can order food and drinks while enjoying the movie! Even though I have bought my hotdog and Nachos, I could not resist the temptations of ordering the *premiere* Platter and a Ice Blended Cafe Latte! I'm so glad that I didn't have my dinner as the food is so delicious! And just when I'm worrying about forgetting to bring my jacket, I noticed that there is a blanket provided. How thoughtful it is!
Soon the movie started and the surround system is great! Fyi, The Rabbit Hole is about a married couple Becca and Howie Corbett (starring NICOLE KIDMAN and AARON ECKHART) who are trying to lead their life back to normal after the death of their son through an accident. Meaningful story I would say.
But I won't elaborate further (trying to create a suspense here). Haha!
But hey, this movie will be released tomorrow, 17-Feb.
The movie lasted about 90 mins and when it ends, I really don't feel like getting out from the seat as it is simply too comfortable! Anyway, we managed to "catch" Alvin and took a picture with him. (^^)
Conclusion: It is definately a luxurious and fantastic movie experience at *premiere* Shaw Theatre @ Nex! It is a new-movie going experience that everyone should try out!

An unforgettable night
19-Jan-2011 is an unforgettable night for me.
Elson's and Bryan's seniors showcase is simply awesome!
In this showcase, most of the songs they sang are their own compositions and all of them are very very nice.
This is the first time that I heard Bryan Senior sang many of his compositions live.
I personally love the song:该怎么爱.
该怎么爱，你才明白.我所谓的未来，只为了你存在，就是那么简单的爱.
该怎么爱，你才勇敢去爱.你所谓的未来，换来的是等待，你需要勇敢起来.
你明不明白，你明不明白?
My tears fell down uncontrollably throughout the whole song.
This song is too touching..
Looking at Elson and Bryan Senior, I feel that I still have alot of things to learn. Apart from singing, they also know how to play instruments, compose and host.
During my younger years, I have always wanted to learn the keyboard. But due to many factors, I didn't.
But I guess it is never too late to start learning. Hopefully our Music Director- Stephen will have time to teach me.. Haha!!
Speaking of keyboard, it reminds me of our Music Arranger and Mixing Engineer- Teffy. His keyboard skill is so awesome! Simply remarkable!
And his wife- Daisy has such powerful vocals!
I hereby would like to take this opportunity to wish them a happy and blissful marriage!
Looking at them, I truely feels that I'm very fortunate to have found someone who loves singing as much as I do! ^^
Oops. I have drifted away from the main topic. Haha!
What I want to say is everyone please continue to support Elson Senior! His debut album has been very hot-selling and recently has gained alot of media attention!
Congrats Elson Senior! ^^
Also, Bryan Senior's will also be releasing his EP in March! I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Happy 2011
The whole of Royal Family, well except for Bryan Senior (who is busy with other events in
Malaysia), have performed in our Welcome 2011 Concert at Chinatown Point!
This is the first time we performed as a family and it is really enjoyable!
Everyone is giving encouragement to one another before the show and it is simply a nice feeling!
I have been in a music school for half a year in year 2006 , but never did I have such a homely feeling before.
Never do I have to be on a guard towards other artistes/performers when I'm in Royal, unlike when I'm with E** (don't want to mention the exact name since its all in the past)
By the way I would like to thank the members of EME who went down to our event. They are truely supportive towards Royal!
Anyway. the surprise that I'm mentioning in my previous blogs is that Royal Performing Group will have our very own EP soon! I had my first recording on 29-Dec-2010 for my song! I never thought I could have a song that I could call it my own. Thanks Elson Senior for believing in Royal Performing Group, without you we could not have the chance to do an EP album! Thanks William for trusting us to sing his compositions and doing our EP album even though we have been with you less than half a year! Thanks Bryan Senior for my song! Though you are at Penang, we knew we have your support! Hope to see you soon as everyone misses you!
Being the first one to do the recording, I'm even more nervous as I know my own problems. Singing Live and Recording is very very different. In recording, every word every emotion is very important. But it is truely a good learning experience for me. Wake up call for me that I must work harder to improve.
Stephen if you are reading this, just want to say thanks for being so patient and understanding towards me.
And also thanks to my fellow performing group teammates, thank you for the support and several attempts to calm me down before I step into the studio! Haha!
Finally, I'm proud to introduce our little Junior- Dayan! He is such an adorable boy! And I'm confident that with his talents and efforts, he will make it big someday! Jia You Dayan! ^^
With this, I shall end my post for now. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year! May you be blessed with good health and happiness this year!

Double Joy!
15-Dec-10 (Wednesday) was an important date for Royal International Group. Why?

I'm so happy for Senior!! He has worked very hard for the past few years and finally he can release his first debut album. I have been listening to the CD for the past 2 days, all the songs are very very nice. This is definately an album that is definately worth paying for!

2) Our Senior- Bryan Teoh and together with 3 artistes from Forest Talent Studio came all the way down from Penang to Singapore for his Music Showcase @ Echo Loft.
Finally, I can see Bryan Senior in person. Have always been waiting for him to come to Singapore as William has told us many stories about him.
We went to Woodlands Checkpoint on Tuesday night to fetch them and then we had our supper together. And yes, you can see from Peter's post that the supper was super sumptous! I wonder how many kilos I will put on. Haha!
It was the first time I met them but they are so friendly! Imagine the whole place was filled with our laughter!
On 15-Dec night, it was the first time I heard Bryan Senior and his Forest Talent Artistes sang live! They are simply awesome!! I'm truely inspired by their stage presence and singing abilities. I have learnt alot of things from their performance and I tell myself that I must work hard to improve. Most importantly, I must have confident in myself! I must brace myself up and I'm trying. I hope everyone can give me the support. ^^

Challenging December
December is a busy and challenging month for the whole of Royal International Group, including Performing Group.
Lots of events going on, almost no time to rehearse.. Why? Because we are all working adults who have our daytime jobs that took away at least 8 hours from us already.
And being someone who loves to be a "sleeping beauty" haha! I'm still adjusting to this lifestyle.
No doubt, I'm feeling lack of energy, but I'm truely glad to be part of Royal Performing Group.
Our Artiste Manager- William has given us more than we thought we will have. He is always so active in securing for events for us so that we can have more exposure. And he never fail to share his knowledge and thoughts with us. But the recent busy schedule has caused him to fall ill. Hope he can recover soon.
Not to mention our fellow Royal family members who are always so encouraging. And also the friends of Royal International Group, who always supportive in our events.
Anyway, this week will be a challenging week for me.. Hopefully everything will be smooth..

A Colourful Life
I have always love singing since young.
If anyone ask me besides singing what other hobbies or leisure activities I like, I will still say singing.. Haha!
I always dream to have a platform for me to perform. So a few years back, I joined a music school to pursue my dream (will not mention which music school) But turns out everything were just empty promises.. The only good thing I guess is that I got to know Peter and Mac (our common friend who was the guest singer in Spring showcase).
As time goes by, I thought that me and Peter can only sing during KTV session and singing competitions. But everything changes when Peter joined Search For the Star 2010. Through this competition both of us got to know William- Artiste Manager of Royal International Group. He offered to organise a music showcase- Sunday with Peter Ng for Peter, despite that Peter is just a contestant! And I'm being given the honour to be the guest singer! Through this showcase, William gave us the chance to be part of Royal Performing Group!
We had our first official showcase as Royal Performing Group on 24-Oct-10 with Stephen, our Music Director. I was excited and yet anxious at that time when I got to know that this showcase will be in Unplugged Guitar as I have never done unplugged before. But with the encouragement and help given by Peter and Stephen, I made it! And we are glad that we didn't disappoint Boss and Serena. They always believe in us and is always willing to share his knowledge with us.
Soon, Celin and Micka joined into Performing Group and the 5 of us had just finished our Four Seasons Music Showcase at Bian's Cafe! Would like to take this chance to thank Stephen again, each of 1 is only doing 1 showcase but he is involved in all 4 showcases! And we have not much time to rehearse since all of us have our daytime jobs. But with his guidance, all 4 of us made it!
Now I think besides music, he has become very good in hosting as well since he is involved in all the 4 showcases! Haha!
Not forgetting Performing Group new members- Eddy and Karen who will also be performing in various events in December. Please show your support to them also! ^^

Being in Royal International Group, we got to know new friends in fact more like family members to us now. Everyone is so supportive to each other and encourage each other along the way! There were no jealousy and no politics among us. Everyone treat one another with a genuine heart.
Maybe others might think that it is awkward for me and Peter to greet Elson, Joseph as 师兄, Shanice as 师姐 since the 3 of them are younger than us. But it is not the case for me, and I think Peter also.
Yes, their age may be younger than us but they have alot of thing that we must learn from. Their passion and perseverance in music are simply admirable! And many other qualities that are too many to name. Most importantly they have no airs at all even though they are in the Artiste Group. In fact they are so friendly and kind-hearted. And they are always so encouraging towards everyone in the Royal family!
And I'm hoping to meet Bryan 师兄 soon, hope he quickly come to Singapore. Can't wait to meet him!
Through Royal, I also got to know friends like Silly Kid, Summer, Shuping, Shirley and others (too many to name). Would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for the support given to Royal Performing Group!
Recently, Peter and I were given the chance to cast in a commercial. Thanks Jian Zhong Ge for the patience and guidance that you gave to me and Peter.
Looking back, I realise that my life has totally changed since the day I joined Royal. Think I should say my life is now more colourful! And I'm thankful for everything, everyone in the Royal family. I love all of you!

皇室表演组
皇室表演组, 走到这一代, 也应该是第四代了. 前三代起起落落, 并没有太大的成就, 到了这一代, 我感受到了他们对音乐, 对表演的那股热诚. 他们虽没有很强的唱功, 没有太华丽的外形, 也没有惊人的才艺, 可是他们现在有的, 是以前表演组没有的, 就是"用心努力"和"没有心机".
以前, 每个人都想当歌手, 让我觉得很心寒, 因为不是每一位都肯努力. 有些就太自以为是, 以为外形不错, 以为声线不错, 就可以得到机会发行专辑, 可是他们错了. 皇室国际要的是"用心努力"和"没有心机"的歌手和表演者.
这一代做到了! 或许他们曾在不同的音乐学校上课, 也曾被给予太大希望, 最后导致失望, 所以可能对皇室国际就更加珍惜. 而我们也不停地寻找好的表演者, 加入我们的家庭, 但往往就碰到闭门梗, 遭人拒绝. 可能我们以前太爱钱吧? 哈哈哈! 但没收入, 我们要如何维持一间公司的操作呢?
如果皇室国际曾对不起你, 在此说声对不起. 但不要放弃我们的表演组, 因为他们的音乐, 真的可以感动到大家的. 虽然第四代加入皇室国际并不是很长的时间, 但我们彼此之间已在不知觉中培养出感情, 大家都好像一家人, 没有约束, 没有隐瞒. 更可贵的是, 他们都很谅解我的坏脾气, 和我说话的直率. 谢谢皇室表演组为皇室国际加油!
