Tis the Seasons to be Jolly!

Its gonna be Christmas soon! haha, but thats not why i'm blogging.. =P

It has been a tough month for me, going through all 4 seasons with Peter, Joanne, Micka and Celin. Each and every week has been very trying, esp with the lack of sleep and the performers going through a sick period (Think i rmb-ed someone saying spread the love or smth). And now I'm going through it as well.. Hoo boy.. Anyways, onto the actual topics:

Spring: Very lively, and personally i think the best out of the four (not that i'm gonna give rankings to the others). I thought we did pretty well with our hosting and stage antics (super good chemistry), singing wise too.. Surprisingly, this was the showcase where i had the least time to work on but still managed to find time to draft harmony.. Hmm.. weird... Anyway, I think Peter truly won over the hearts of the audience with his Gungho style of acting, mimic-ing various other artistes and singing!

Summer: Ah.. I'll never forget the 3 most important words of this showcase.. "Elaborate" and "React Accordingly". Amusing as it is, it proved useful and very apt for the situations we faced on stage that day, esp when Joanne wasnt feeling too good. I admired her effort to still persevere and to complete the showcase. So in short, we "Reacted Accordingly"!

Autumn (or also known as Fall): I termed it this way cos everytime Micka/Minnie comes up with a cold joke, I have an anime image in my head, y'know, those of people falling when the joke is seriously too cold. This showcase was not too bad, given Micka/Minnie's vocal prowess and pitch perfection. Perhaps the only downside really is that there were too many songs that are unheard of, or that lack entertainment value to draw attention. Ah well, when we're at the bottom, we can only IMPROVE, no?

Winter: The showcase really suited the theme pretty well, with most songs being smooth and gentle, with the occasional kick from the more light-hearted songs. Celin was quite nervous for this showcase as it is her first time performing rather than hosting, but i think she pulled it off comfortably well. Practise more and it'll be alright!

Its a pity i dont really have any photos to share for now (maybe cos i was on stage all 4 wks haha!), but there'll be more to come for sure! To my fellow Performing group family, Jiayou ba! =)

Ja ne~
